Day 1 Pentecost Novena

Coming out from praying the novena, I looked around to catch a fleeting glimpse of a rainbow.

I was very apprehensive about praying this novena in public.  Once again, God was stretching my boundaries.

I was happy when it was only my family, myself, and one other person. I was able to pray the novena without too much stumbling and after praying at 7:30 a.m. (Sharp–mind you), I could feel such an energizing peace overtake me.  I wish that I could bottle it up and share it with all of you. The beauty of it would be worth millions but I would never take a penny for it.  This is something given just because you want to share it without limits.

I had this image, at some point today, it was of the crazy Jesus freak that is depicted in many movies, you know the one–crazy looking homeless guy, caring a sign that says “Jesus Loves You” and yelling out “Repent” or something like that.  I could see myself as this guy, if this guy felt the same magnificently energizing peace. I could see why he would want to share this message.

After the evening prayer, which I did delay a bit,  I still had a great feeling afterward which seemed to be “rewarded” by catching a fleeting rainbow. The rainbow was very light and small but it seemed to say to me–“Now it is small but in time this rainbow will shine with the love of God.”

I hope each of you were able to say the novena today and I pray that each of  your lives is filled with an abundance of bright rainbows with the Light of God shinning on them just for you.

Don’t forget about Day 2!!
