Drive by Prayers phase II

Considering the fact that lawmakers have actually tried to pass a law allowing for post birth abortions to become legal, my mind is screaming INSANITY!!! and truly it scares the life out of me.

This article from the Washington Post gives all a little insight to the chilling truth, post birth abortions.

I believe in Jesus’ time, I am just guessing, but I believe this would be called murder…thus Thou shalt not kill…and it doesn’t say unless…

I don’t know about you but if they were to pass a bill for post birth abortions or 4th term abortions, my first question would be at what age do they draw the line?  Can we take our son who had been an loving & obedient boy but since he hit puberty is now acting like the devil himself, could we come up with a good excuse to have him aborted at this age?  Or  would we even have to come up with a believable excuse. Would it be like the pound, just drop them off and see what happens?

This type of actions did take place in Jesus’ time, and were called by their given name–murder/massacre/ execution. Jesus was to be murdered, yet since it was not written, He escaped with the Holy Family. But many were not so lucky (read Feast of the Holy Innocence) and lost their lives, many children two and under gave up their lives so Jesus Christ could live.

Matthew 2,  12-16

“And having received an answer in sleep that they should not return to Herod, they went back another way into their country.  And after they were departed, behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph, saying: Arise, and take the child and his mother, and fly into Egypt: and be there until I shall tell thee. For it will come to pass that Herod will seek the child to destroy him.  Who arose, and took the child and his mother by night, and retired into Egypt: and he was there until the death of Herod:  That it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet, saying: Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Then Herod perceiving that he was deluded by the wise men, was exceeding angry; and sending killed all the men children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under”

I would like to request your participation once again in Drive By Prayers. If you are not familiar with the idea of drive by prayers, let me reintroduce the idea.

“I thought it would be wonderful if we could all come together in prayer and do sort of a drive by prayer. What I have in mind is for individuals at their convenience to stop by their local Planned Parenthood or any clinic which offers & performs abortions, you don’t need to get out, or go in, or talk to anyone, just simply sit in your car…say a prayer (Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be) or any you feel comfortable. Pray for all those women, who are hurting, lost, scared, lonely, and facing a decision that will impact their lives  forever. Pray for the little babies growing each day in the belly of those women, innocent and pure, just waiting to come out and love on their moms. To be the light in a time of darkness. Pray that if a women doesn’t feel like she can be a good mother, that she would willing give the life of her child to someone who can’t have their own.

How wonderful if your prayers could save the life of a child, if you could give hope to  a women in despair. If you can, simply by praying, change lives..give life.

I plan on posting a few prayers if you wish to have them with you.  You might just happen to come across an office in your drive and you have a few minutes to spare… we will be doing 25 days of  Christmas (Advent) …if you could give 10…. what a beautiful Christmas miracle. Can you imagine just saving one life..Jesus’ ”

What kind of life would are children have if post birth abortions were the norm, actually I believe there was a “Twilight” episode like that…anyone remember?

Let us pray for the lives of unborn babies and the lives of all those who have been allowed to live, may their lives continue to be fruitful, faithful, strong, and unending. May Our Creator have completed control in the beginning and end of life.
